Rebecca did an interview not long ago and in the interview they talked about Bec heading to Hollywood for a big career step! I can’t wait until she does, she deserves to be recognized by more people as a beautiful and wonderful actress! Bec also spoke about Body Image and what people say about hers. All I can say is no matter what, Bec is absolutly gorgeous! Also, new photos for the Running Bare photoshoot!

REBECCA Breeds knows all about body image issues that young actresses face.

But the 23-year-old Home and Away star, who has just resumed filming the long-running Channel Seven soap, is determined not to let criticism of her weight get to her.

“I was like ‘stuff them’, I’m not going to let this perception of weight in the industry control how I live my life,” she said.

“But being on television, it does add weight. Everyone I meet says ‘oh, you’re so much smaller in real life — in height and in body’.

“TV definitely does that and people don’t realise so it’s heaps tough because you can be totally healthy in real life and you still watch yourself on TV and you look bigger than you thought you were.”

Breeds, who is 2011 ambassador for fitness-wear Running Bare, does not lack confidence. She plans to join fellow Aussie actors in Hollywood, but not this year.

“I’m a very big believer of the phrase ‘don’t jump ponds until you’ve outgrown them’, and my time on Home and Away

is not through at all so I’m definitely looking to throw myself into that more,” she said.

I have found 4 photos of Bec from the charity event, Christmas For The Kids, Luke and her held to raise money for the kids at the Sovanapoom Orphanage in Cambodia. I’m not sure how much they raised but hopefully they reached their goal of $200,000. I would like to send out all my wishes for the Sovanapoom kids. I seen photos of them on facebook and they are so adorable.

Hugo’s Lounge Celebrates 10th Anniversary – November 19, 2010 - 3 images added

Rebecca attended the 2010 Telethon held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Bec participated in many events throughout the two days and we have 37 photos to show her effort to help sick kids. This year Telethon rose over 9 million dollars which takes Telethons overall amount raised to 100 million over just 43 years, now thats something to celebrate about! Rebecca also was one of two back-up singers for the amazing Stan Walker when he sung Home Sick. What an amazing two days Bec has had this weekend in Western Australia.
